Let me introduce myself. My name is Patrick Ellis and I am the Owner of Veterans Art Works, LLC. I started Veterans Art Works, LLC, also known as VAW Art in 2011 as a Commission Artist. Later, I grew to have the good fortune of my Art Pieces being placed in multiple private businesses and Galleries throughout greater Charlotte, and the
Let me introduce myself. My name is Patrick Ellis and I am the Owner of Veterans Art Works, LLC. I started Veterans Art Works, LLC, also known as VAW Art in 2011 as a Commission Artist. Later, I grew to have the good fortune of my Art Pieces being placed in multiple private businesses and Galleries throughout greater Charlotte, and the State of North Carolina. My work has been featured in Local print news in the Arts and Entertainment sections, and appearances on Local News outlet interviews. I eventually expanded into Commission Murals on local business’s exterior and interior walls. Additionally, I also expanded into Artistic Design of Apparel, Tattoo Design, and Personalized signage and logo design.
This has been more than a business, but more as a way for me to share my love for Art and Music with others.
To share a little about myself, I am a Veteran of the Military, serving 22 years from 1988-2010, both Active Duty and
Reserve. I served in many capacities, and across two branches of service and involving two wars. I served as a Medic, Rescue Swimmer, Maritime Law Enforcement Officer, Boat Crew Coxswain, and Retired at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Throughout my military career, I was involved in working with local EMS and Fire Services in my roles in Maritime and Urban Search and Rescue. This led to a professional civilian career as a Firefighter-Paramedic for a large metropolitan Fire
Department, and later with a large-rural County EMS service. I retired from the Fire/EMS Service with 20 years of professional service in 2015. I finished my career as a Registered Nurse in 2020.
My Love for the Arts has always served as a way for me to manage stresses endured from a
long professional career. But most importantly creating a bond with my clients!

I work in multiple forms of Art using many different forms of media. I commonly practice in Pencil, both Graphite and Pastel, Charcoal, Acrylics, Oils, Watercolors, Spray, and Airbrush. I commonly apply these media on Canvas, Paper, Wood, glass, etc. Additionally, I perform Murals on Interior and Exterior walls, and Design Logos for business, and Tattoo Design.

My Inspiration derives from many sources and ideas. I created the name Veterans Art Works from my 32-year professional career as a Member of the US Military, Public Safety, and Nursing. I support a wide range of charitable organizations working with the Military, Public Safety, and Healthcare Community. I thrive on using my artistic pas
My Inspiration derives from many sources and ideas. I created the name Veterans Art Works from my 32-year professional career as a Member of the US Military, Public Safety, and Nursing. I support a wide range of charitable organizations working with the Military, Public Safety, and Healthcare Community. I thrive on using my artistic passions to better my community, educate others in the arts, and expose others to various types of artistic expression. Art and Music has served as a cathartic benefit for me as it pertains to the effects of a long career in public service. I thrive on relating to my clients and creating an experience that makes a difference in their lives.
